Pastor Dan, along with his wife Jessica and three children Lucas, Isaiah and Karis moved to Ottawa in 2022 when he was called to be the second Pastor of NCLC. Jessica and Dan met while serving on a music ministry in the US and West Africa. Their family is excited to join in the work God is doing in Ottawa, Putnam County and beyond. The

Jessica and Dan met while serving on a music ministry in the US and West Africa. Their family is excited to join in the work God is doing in Ottawa, Putnam County and beyond. They invite you to join them on the amazing adventure of faith at NCLC as they seek to be a family on mission together, striving to love God, love people and follow Jesus.
Pastor Dan grew up in Minnesota and is a graduate of Luther Seminary. Before being called to NCLC, he served at Christ Lutheran Church in Preston, MN and Zion Lutheran Church in Waterville, OH.

She married her husband, Tyler in 2010. They live in Ottawa and have four children, Isaiah, Sadie, Nora, and Lucy. When she isn't working, you will find her homeschooling her kids, reading, walking or baking.
