The Essential Jesus or J100 challenge began on Sunday, January 5th, 2025. J100 is a Bible reading plan built around 100 carefully selected, short Bible passages — 25 from the Old Testament and 75 from the New Testament. It is designed to help us answer the question, “Who is Jesus?” J100 will last for 20 weeks, with five readings assigned each week. A Bible and the reading plan is all you need to participate in the J100 challenge, but you may want to purchase the Essential Jesus book which will be available at church. The book includes devotional commentary, prayers, personal application questions, group discussion questions and more.
